Yay!!! Finally after all the years surviving on dial-up, I've finally got wireless connection at home..and I'm especially proud of myself cos I'll be paying for it! The beauty of independence..sweet sweet independence. It makes u feel like ur life has soo much more meaning cos u are responsible and accountable for things..like the broadband bills!!! I noe many may go like, r u kidding me? Being happy paying the bills? Well, its a grown up thing. And I love growing up.
So its a Saturday noon, where I'm an unemployed graduate, but only for two days more, mind u, for on tuesday, I start my stint as a customs specialist..woohoo!!! Yesterday was my last day at the self-employed tax division..was pretty bitter-sweet, noeing that i won't have to see those darn forms anymore..but hell i'll miss the kids i work with who tease me for being too slow (hello, they screen some 160 forms a day while yrs truly barely scrapes through an average of 90-100 forms a day...geez.)
It was nice...after that I helped out Shera with her BMDP stuff..and i had my finger prick yesterday too! It was so fun to see what a PR job is like..I'm telling u aside the glam, its a whole load of work to do...but Shera's good at what she does...so I'm really proud of her.. :D You'll make it big someday babe...i noe it.
and yes, i felt quesy looking at my blood samples..once again, thank god i didn't do Bio or get myself into nursing. phew~
Aside from the stiff neck and throbbing head from, I presume, exhaustion from the weeks, I am comfortably sitting in my room enjoying WIRELESS CONNECTIVITY and ripping off Alejandro Sanz from the net. Life's good..I really wanna unwind and chill out this weekend with my baby..he's prolly still sleeping now.Shan't disturb him just yet..maybe later.
Progress package is in, and I feel rich! and yes, I get to vote!!! How exciting is that? Not that it makes much of a diff to me cos i personally feel that the elections is a waste of time and funds..jus the other day I was typing a frenly email to my pals..saying something along the lines of 'they shld spend the money and time on investing taxpayers money and thinking how to reinvent and refresh the education system instead of coming out to shake hands with people in hawker centres.
' That's just me, but yay i get to vote! :p
In any case, I'm listening to retro and 90's pop on class 95 as I type these words out, eating mom's sambal ikan bilis on bread.
Life's good, I ain't complaining.
