Anyways, I have pretty toes and two scrubbed feet that cost me 60 bucks. I kinda made an appointment thinking it was jus 36 bucks for a pedicure, but it totally slipped my mind how you can never trust nail shops, spas, massage places ever again. not even your freaking hairdresser. They want your money, they want it bad.
As always, an anti-fungi tablet in your warm water costs an additional 10 dollars, the french pedi colors were an extra 8, and since they girl had to scrub my calluses harder, that cost me 15. geez.
On another note, the weekend was crazy. Had to emcee for the mgmt advance, it went well..so yay! After that met up with Arti and Desmond 4 Swensens..followed by the movie Click..funny stuff. Then we wanted to do the girls nite out thingy, so we went for drinks at Acid Bar, where the band played nice tunes, and I tried my Yellow Bird cocktail. Oklah. Preferred Arti's Buzz instead.
Saturday was the lil tyke's party..fun!!! the house became a mini kindergarten, and saw my cousins and relatives after so long..nice catching up!! My cousin, who's a year younger than me, has been pregnant, and the baby's due in like a month or two..and there were several mommies-to-be at the party too1!! Is it jus me or is the population boosting child-policies really taking off now? Whatever it is, babies are coming..and I'm guessing this hari raya i'll be pretty broke with the number of kids around to give green packets too. No wonder we fast for a month hahaha.
Then today, I went for a colleague's daughter's wedding..followed by Ri's engagement. She looks pretty!
So you can imagine with the baby party, engagement and weddings I've been attending, I could have been asked like a hundred times or so on 'Where's your bf' of 'So when's your turn' or 'How long more'...doesn't help that my baby's away for the weekend on his BKK trip. Haiz. Come back soon baby...I miss u!!!
Back to work tmw..last week in office b4 S2006 prep starts proper. Then I'd have to serve my NS for wat's to be SG's largest event.
Room's in a mess, haven't read the papers and mouth still itchy. Must go find food now..take care everyone..if anyone's still reading this, that is. heh~
