Thinking of the many interesting errands to run and chores to complete (that laundry basket never seems to be empty ever since I got married!), I got off to a quick start, planning the things to do today (cooking lunch, shopping, drop by in-laws,etc).
Of course looking ahead got me excited too.
Just a spark of randomness got me excited, am thinking of sitting for the IBF Certifications just to get that bit of 'upgrade your skills' and really, to boost my confidence and pick up where I left of in the Finance area from Uni days.
Also, since the laptop seems to be failing me every now and then (yes, the very same laptop I've been using since 2002 - start of Uni), I thought of Simex. After checking with my IT-savvy colleague, was informed that the $1388 Fujitsu deal was pretty good..since SITEX opens at 11am, why not drop by (and get the laptop). Oh how convenient!
As it is, mommy was telling me I shld be wary of my expenses, esp since I may need to tide my savings in the next few months. But a laptop has become such an essential part of my life, it seems pretty much impossible to do anything without it these days. IT-dependency = close to 100%. Scary thought.
Oh yes, we also booked a trip to KL just before the Xmas season..shopping time! In desperate need to revamp the wardrobe (tho i bet KL will prolly just add on to basics, not much of anything else). But its a getaway nonetheless, and hope it'll be a good bet than the original plans of Bangkok, which has been seriously over-priced as of late.
Yesterday I got my belated birthday cake from my beloved mommy(B-day was on 23rd Nov, and I turned 24). Except for making a big career decision on the eve of my B-day, it has been simple so far, with greetings and wishes from the loved ones (thanks, all!) and a great dinner treat + gifts from the hubby. Still this one takes the cake (pun intended):
