Day 1 was basically touch-down and a short trip to MBK, the famous Bangkok Shopping Centre. We didn't get much, cos we were trying hard to 'resist' temptation and get whatever we needed at Khao San Road and Chatuchak. Headed to Khao San shortly after, since it was near our hotel. Fun stuff!
Day 2 saw me having cramps, and I was a total grouch. Needless to say the sun didn't help - so hot! Like, it was worse than Singapore because of the dry, stuffy and cramped lanes in Chatuchak. Still, it was shopping spree-like-there's-no-tomorrow kinda crazy cos everything in Chatuchak was maybe a quarter or half of what it costs in Singapore. We also had cheap facials, mani and pedicures, and a thai massage. Power!
Day 3 was last day at Chatuchak (Yup, it was essentially a Chatuchak Weekend for us) and after I took some painkillers I was raring to go and shop. Got lots of shoes, shirts, tees, berms, bags! Like crazy! Cheap cheap cheap!
2 days after we got back, and I'm still reminiscing the fun shopping trip. It was also full of good food! Tom Yam, Pad Thai, Green Curry, banana pancakes and waffles..
