Start Something

Today was pretty exciting. I went to IE Sing to sign my contract of offer under the Trade Div. Basically I'll be helping exporters widen their base, possibly overseas, by making use of FTAs and any form of assistance possible. So there, info on my new job for my dear friends. :) I thought that it'd be safer to 'announce' when I officially signed the papers, so wheee~ (Yup Hanis, you were right on!) :D

They also asked me to go for a medical check-up, which I did at Raffles Hospital Bugis. That hospital is so crowded and packed! If I had known, I would have trotted over to UOB Raffles Place branch, where its quieter and has fewer kids around. They took an X-Ray, and I was surprised that they let me take it home. Apparently all they needed was to check I was 'clear'. So now I have a huge X-Ray film of my aligned spine, lungs and heart, but I don't know what to do with it. I could frame it up just for fun. Else, I really don't know what to do with it. :p

After that I headed to NLB to do some of my stuff, before meeting Shriti for some financial discussion. We talked about SMU, and recalled the good ol' days, and the people we knew. It was really nice that we could connect eventhough this was the first time we met!

Felt hungry so I went to my fav soup spoon outlet, where I treated myself to beef goulash and chicken tikka set. (Naddie, I totally remember the time I lunched with you and Syarifah there, and how u liked the chicken tikka!)

Well, that's about it for the day. I'm starting to feel a tad bit excited, on the verge of anxiousness, at the fact that I'll be working next week. Yay!!! Happy happy!!! I know usually we all get jaded months into the job, but right now, I don't care cos since I'm starting out all over, might as well get naive and excited while I'm at it! :D

Cheers everybody! :D
