lo and behold, its a week to Hari Raya! I've been busy over the last 2 weekends sprucing up the room, meeting with friends and loved ones over iftar. Needless to mention I've also been spending on stuff to do up the room (a lovely floor mat and cushy pillows to make a cosy corner for me), and I went splurging on new clothes and new hair.
Well not exactly new hair, but new coloured hair. I requested my stylist to do some ash brown base with fab highlights. Turned out ok, but the highlights are a tad brighter than expected - its almost yellow-brown-blonde kind. I think she felt a bit bad that it was striking cos I told her on the onset that I'd want to maintain a professional look. Nonetheless I love the colours, strong and bold - I think it'll tame when the roots start growing out. Besides, its the end of the year and things are winding down so advanced party hair for party mood, no?
In other news my camera's gone all crazy only a year into service, so looks like I'll have to ask my lil sis to lend me her camera for Raya visits. If I can get a good shot, I'll post pics up here later.
