Surprises

Hello, its been a while, hasn't it?

Truth be told my last post has been pretty omenous. Turns out, on an ordinary morning on 25th June 2009, just when I was recovering from a flu, a stick turned blue and since then my life has pretty much took a turn. Many of you reading this are prolly close to me so u may have already heard the news. Yeps, its baby-a-callin' and its pretty much nearing the end of the 1st trimester in just about 2-3 weeks. Morning sickness is becoming pretty intense, and while I haven't puked all over, I certainly have been gagging alot, esp when the smell of toothpaste hits me. Needless to say, routines have changed, and everyday's a new experience of *trying* to eat healthy, overcoming nausea and thinking about the bigger questions, like 'Will I be a good parent', 'How will the delivery be like' and 'I did take folic acid in the morning, right?'

I guess there is a reason why pregnancy takes 9 months. It'll prolly be just right for one to internalise that the gift of life has more meaning than you previously thought, along with the many sacrifices and life-changing experiences that come along with it.

That aside, today is 20.07.2009. That means we're into our 2nd year Anniversary. Had a day off, cleaned up a bit and had a lovely dinner along Pasir Ris Park. 2 years into marriage and thank God that He has blessed me abundantly. The hubby had to make couple of adjustments domestically and emotionally, so hopefully we will ease into our new roles as the weeks go by.

Anyway, they're showing Deuce Bigalow on tv now, think I'll go catch some no-brainer humor for now. Till then, laters guys. Pray for me. ;)
