And so I haven't been updating my blog in a while..
I celebrated my birthday in Nov, and the very next day I went back to work. It has been some 2 weeks since then, and I guess I've been settling into the routine.
Pretty tough and tiring, juggling the whole work-life balance. I try not to miss my girl when I'm at work, so I hardly call back. But once I reach home it's pretty much her bedtime, so there's not much quality time available on weekdays. On weekends, we may be out running errands and stuff, so we bring her along whenever possible.
Today we spent the whole day at home, and played with her quite a bit. She's starting to respond to our jokes and tricks, its really heartwarming. And needless to say, my favourite part of the day is waking up beside her, to her toothless grin.
Time passes quickly, 2011 is just around the corner. Can you recall this time last year, and how different life was? I certainly could, and who knows what the next year will bring..
