I love tv on Monday and Tuesday, actually more so on Monday.
Let me tell you why..
On Monday evening, I get intellectually stimulated by the debates on 'The Arena'. I know, how gina can watching adolescents debate be, some may say. But to me, the fact that these kids can actually put up a better argument and voice their opinions in a manner much more civilised and proper than some adults makes it worth watching. Besides, there are 3 main characters I love watching out for:
1. Host, Jason Chan. Make that, Dr. Jason Chan for you.
He is hot! And I just looked up his profile - he's got more than the looks..check his impressive resume out. And turns out, he's the hot nerdy guy on 'The Leap Years' lah, the one who got dumped by Li Lin at the alter. How not to go ga-ga, you tell me?!
2. Gaurav Keerthi, President of Debating Society
Eloquent and always smartly dressed..Singapore's George Clooney?
3. Dr K K Seet, Theatre Academic
His witty remarks and presence is enough to make me listen to every single comment he has to make.
I'm not kidding, you guys should seriously give 'The Arena' a shot. Its really quite a watch!
